Chelsea are believed to be prepared to offer Yossi Benayoun to Tottenham Hotspur as a part of a potential deal to land Luka Modric, according to The Daily Mail
The Blues have been heavily linked with the Croatian midfielder all summer after Spurs failed to qualify for the Champions League like they did the season before.
Earlier this month it had been reported that the west London club would lodge a £30 million bid to sign the former Dinamo Zagreb man.
Now The Daily Mail reports that the Stamford Bridge club are prepared to offer the creative Israeli midfielder in part-exchange for Modric.
Tottenham have so far been resolute in their stance, insisting that Modric is not for sale at any price.
